World Diabetes Day Awareness Program Held at KVR College

World Diabetes Day was observed with great enthusiasm at K.V.R. Government College, where the Department of Biochemistry organized an informative awareness seminar for students. The program aimed to highlight the growing concern of diabetes and the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle practices among young adults.

Awareness Seminar by Medical Expert

The session featured Dr. Radharani, Associate Professor and Endocrinologist from Kurnool Medical College, as the chief guest.
In her address, she explained:

  • Various types of diabetes

  • Causes and early symptoms

  • Importance of balanced diet and healthy food choices

  • Lifestyle modifications required to prevent diabetes

  • Ways students can guide their family members to avoid diabetes

Her talk provided practical insights into managing health risks and inspired the students to take preventive measures seriously.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. Venkata Reddy, Principal of KVR College, who emphasized the role of awareness programs in improving community health.
