Kurnool: Grand Celebrations of College Foundation Day on Wednesday Dr.M.Indira Santhi Garu the Principal of the college, Dr.K.Veerachari Garu Vice-Principal, Dr.T.S.Rajendra Kumar Garu the Supernumerary Principal, Smt. Butta Renuka Garu Ex-Member of Parliament, Smt.K.Sridevi Garu Honourable Member of the Legislative Assembly (Pattikonda) Constituency, Smt.P.Nagamma Garu - Retd. Deputy Collector (Kurnool), Dr.N.Samanthkamani Garu Ex-Chairman Market Yard Committee (Kurnool), CPDC Member Chandrasekhara Kalkora Garu, Smt.Dr.C.V.Rajesheari Garu, Smt.C.Sarojini Devi Garu Retd. Principal KVRGCW(A) Kurnool were present and started the foundation day ceremony with lightning the lamp.
Foundation Day:
KVR Government College for Women was Established in 1968 on 27th July at approximately 13 Acre near Kurnool Railway Station.
Prayer Song by students and Special Song KVR College Anthem dedicated to the Institution and founder Kasireddy Venkata Reddy Garu.
Chief Guest: Smt. Butta Renuka Garu, Former MP feels happier to attend the foundation day celebration and said this college provides many opportunities to all the students, most of the students are from rural areas and the teaching faculty is strongly committed to providing quality education.
Launch of Online Registration form for Alumnae
KVR College for Women, Kurnool was established in the year 1958 by late Kasireddy Venkata Reddy Garu on behalf of foundation day on Wednesday Alumnae Meetup at College Assembly Hall. from 1958 to 2021 many batches, thousands of students are passed out in the Rayalaseema region and some alumnae students are settled in other states and foreign countries. Chief Guests Smt.Butta Renuka Garu, Kangati Sridevi Garu and special invitees have launched the online registration form for Alumnae on College Website's special Tab will be dedicated to Alumnae Students and said this registration form is useful for alumnae meet up.
Alumnae Contribution
The Alumnae 1989 batch students have contributed liberally towards the development of the institution by donating chairs, 2011 batch student Lalitha present working as Sub-Inspector @ CID has donated her one month salary.
Launch of Online Admissions Help Desk
KVR Government College for Women (Autonomous), Kurnool online admissions have started in the helpdesk set up for the convenience of students principal Dr M.Indira Santhi Garu said this desk is helpful to the students who are facing difficulties due to online admissions.
