Nutri Tourism Celebrations at KVR - Vice Chancellor Attends

The Vice Chancellor of Cluster University, Professor DVR Sai Gopal garu, highlighted the significance of tourism in fostering self-employment skills among students. Speaking at the Nutri Tourism celebrations at KVR Government College for Women, Kurnool, he emphasized that students can lead fulfilling lives through any profession by leveraging their skills and self-confidence.

During the event, students showcased their culinary talents by preparing various nutritious dishes and setting up stalls for sale. They also crafted garments, decorative items, and a variety of snacks, all made by the students themselves. The Vice Chancellor, along with University Registrar Dr. Katta Venkateswarlu garu and Vice Principal Dr. B. Devikarani garu, expressed their amazement at the students' skills. Faculty members joined them in purchasing and tasting the items from the stalls, praising the students for their efforts.

NUTRITOURISM FAIR, created by the students, highlighted the importance of nutrition for health and captivated everyone. Dr. Aarti Chakra and Mrs. Radha Ramani, HOD of the Home Science and History departments, organized the event, showcasing the students' skills and providing them with self-employment training. College Principal Dr. VV Subramanya Kumar garu awarded certificates and prizes to the students who demonstrated exceptional skills.

Tourism Officer Mrs. Vijaya, faculty members Dr.Jhansi Rani, Ms.Vasantha, and the college's teaching and non-teaching staff, along with all the students, participated in the event.
